In April 2022, we visited Miami Fruit together on a fruit adventure, sampling the best quality fruit in the world. We created recipes with these fantastic fruits from the farm and decided to make a book of it, The Miami Fruit Recipe Book! Ripe, high quality fruit is so delicious by itself, so honestly they really don’t need recipes because
they are already perfect, but on the other hand, if you have the best quality ingredients available, imagine the high gourmet foods you can make, and the variations with these fruits that you can have in both savory and sweet ways. The explosions of flavors, and the boost with even more flavors when combining different high quality ingredients in the right proportions, is incredible. What we love about having organic, ripe fruit is that we still can keep the recipes very simple. We find that there is actually no need for salt, vinegar, oils, or other condiments in order to make things taste fantastic.
As professional chefs from California and Sweden, and both long-term raw vegans, we have learned how to make raw food recipes taste fantastic using the right ratios of ingredients. Fruit, when combined in a recipe gives the fruit space to bloom out even more without other ingredients taking over. Try the fruits alone first, and then start making recipes with them, and you will notice the many ways that you can enjoy fruit, and also you will notice how many different flavors you can get from each fruit!
